A very scenic drive via Sir Lowry’s Pass, up into the apple growing region of Grabouw. Stop en route to buy picnic supplies at the Grabouw Farm stall. Picnic lunch on the banks of a lake in Elgin. Continue via the Tweewaterskloof Dam and the Franschhoek Pass. Visit a winery and a fruit packing farm.
